Sheet vinyl generally comes in rolls 2 metre, 3 metre or 4 metre wide. If your area is wider than this then a joining can be used. The vinyl can be cut to any length required.

Can vinyl be laid over ceramic tiles and uneven surfaces?
Given the nature of the product, vinyl will over time form the shape of the surface that it is laid down upon. For this reason, we would not recommend it being laid directly on top of tiles. Over time you will start to see the imprint of the tiles through your new vinyl floor covering.

We recommend laying a thin coat of smoothing compound over your tiles in order to have the best subfloor for your new vinyl floor covering. At Dan Sheehan Floor Coverings we can carry out this work for you in advance of having your new floor fitted. Please contact us if you would like more details.
